Lake Nohur (Nohur gölü) is a scenic mountain lake near the town of Gabala, in northern Azerbaijan, in the foothills of the Greater Caucasus. It is surrounded by dense forests and green slopes that reflect in its calm water.
Nohur is one of the favourite places to relax in Gabala. People come here to breathe the mountain air, walk along the shore, ride a pedalo and simply admire the silence and beauty.
The lake is beautiful at any time of year: emerald in summer, golden and crimson in autumn, snow-covered in winter. Each season gives it its own face.
Nohur has become one of the symbols of touristic Gabala — a place where mountains, forest and water come together into a perfect landscape.

The lake is near the town of Gabala — one of the main tourist centres of Azerbaijan. It is convenient to reach by car, and other sights of the region are close by.
