A trip to Nohur
Lake Nohur is in the Gabala district, near the town of Gabala — one of the main tourist centres of Azerbaijan. From Baku to Gabala is a few hours along a scenic road, and from the town to the lake is not far at all.
It is most convenient to come by car or on a tour. The lakeshore is well kept: there are paths, gazebos, cafés and car parks, so it is comfortable to relax here.
A trip to Nohur is easy to combine with other sights of Gabala — mountain resorts, cable cars, waterfalls and forests. It is an ideal part of a route through northern Azerbaijan.
